Creating international youtube premium account

As indicated by The Sim Architect, the prices of YouTube Premium differ a lot between countries. During September 2020, a user in Argentina had to pay 119 Pesos, corresponding $1.57, whereas a user in Denmark had to pay 119 Danish Crowns, corresponding to $18.59 or 11.8 times the Argentinian equivalent.
Needless to say, it is tempting to get access to international prices.
Inspired by a guide published by The Best VPN, this is how I would do it:
- [Optional] Create a new Google account. You can use your usual Google account, but it might be a good idea to isolate the viewing data that Google will inevitably collect. If you do create a new Google account, it might be a good idea to set up Gmail to forward all emails to your usual account.
- Download a VPN app with servers in Argentina. A common choice is NordVPN, but I would use a free service such as VPN.lat. Keep in mind though, that free VPNs usually have a hidden agenda. I would not rely on a free service such as VPN.lat for anything other than specific uses.
- Activate the VPN service and verify that your IP address is located in Argentina. I usually do this by navigating to https://www.whatismyip.com.
- Navigate to https://www.youtube.com/premium. You should be presented with monthly prices listed in ARS (Argentine Peso).
- Select the plan you want to use.
- Enter your credit card information.
- Provide an Argentinian billing address generated using Fake Address Generator.
- Click BUY.
- Disconnect from VPN. If you used a free VPN service, delete the VPN app.
